Carlyn McCaffrey is a partner and co-head of the Trusts and Estate Department of Weil Gotshal & Manges. She is an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York University School of Law and received her LL.B and LL.M from the New York University School of Law. She is a fellow and a past president of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel, a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel, a member of the Council of the Real Property Probate and Trust Section of the American Bar Association, a member of the Tax Section of the New York State Bar Association and the former co-chair of the Section's Estates and Trusts Committees. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of Tax Analysts, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the University of Miami's Philip E. Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning.
