EDMOND R. DAVIS

Edmond R. Davis is a partner with Davis & Whalen LLP. Mr. Davis is a trusts and estates specialist, with extensive experience in estate planning, and trust and estate litigation and administration. Mr. Davis' individual clients include persons of significant wealth, as well as persons of more moderate net worth. His institutional clients have included all of the major trust institutions in Southern California. He has lectured and published articles on estate planning, trust and estate litigation and administration.

Mr. Davis is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, having previously been its California Chair. He was the first chair of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of California. He was chair of the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He has been listed in every edition of "Best Lawyers in America," and was the 1991 recipient of the Arthur K. Marshall award as outstanding trusts and estates lawyer, by the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is a Certified Specialist, Taxation, State Bar of California. Mr. Davis' charitable work includes serving on the Boards of Directors of The Braille Institute of America, Children's Bureau of Southern California, Children's Bureau Foundation of Southern California, and Fifield Manors.
